Error description
TPC 5.2 Cognos reports do not correctly display the actual Allocated Space for Compressed Volumes and treats them as fully allocated Volumes (Virtual Capacity and Allocated Space is displayed with the same value on compressed volumes). RECREATE STEPS: 1 Add an SVC that contains Compressed Volumes to TPC. Probe the device. 2.Run the Cognos report found under: Public Folders ?> IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center Predefined Reports ?> Storage Systems ?> Volumes?-> Volumes Capacity 3. Problem conclusion
The problem has been fixed. Cognos reports for Compressed Volumes display now correct information.
