Error description

  • TPC 5.2 Cognos reports do not correctly display the actual
    Allocated Space for Compressed Volumes and treats them as fully
    allocated Volumes (Virtual Capacity and Allocated Space is
    displayed with the same value on compressed volumes).
    RECREATE STEPS:
    1 Add an SVC that contains Compressed Volumes to TPC. Probe the
    device.
    2.Run the Cognos report found under: Public Folders ?> IBM
    Tivoli Storage Productivity Center Predefined Reports ?> Storage
    Systems ?> Volumes?->  Volumes Capacity
    3. Notice that the Allocated Space and Virtual Capacity metrics
    show the same values for compressed volumes
