IC96919: UNEXPECTED BEHAVIOR WHEN FILTERING ROWS IN STREAMS CONSOLE
Closed as fixed if next.
The table grids in the IBM InfoSphere Streams Console contain rows that you can select by checking a check box or a radio button. Generally, most buttons are disabled when the grid is first displayed. When you select a row or rows, buttons that relate to appropriate actions for the selected items are enabled. If you select a row, create a filter that excludes the selected row, and then apply the filter, the grid refreshes and displays only the rows that satisfy the filter. The expected behavior is that the buttons that apply only to the selected row (which is no longer visible) are disabled. The buttons, however, remain enabled. Even after you remove the filter and the clear the row selection, the buttons are still enabled. If you click the buttons in this situation, they do not perform the action that they are intended for; nothing happens.
To enable the correct behavior for the buttons, refresh the grid by clicking the refresh button above the grid.
This issue was fixed in the Streams release 3.2. Now the state of the buttons associated with the table grid are reset correctly once the filter has been applied or removed.
