Error description

  • The user is trying to deploy a file with double byte
characters in the name. The deployment fails with an error
message BIP2135E.

Local fix

  • Do not use double byte characters in the node names

USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM Integration Bus using double byte characters in
their file names.


Platforms affected:
AIX, HP-UX PA-RISC platform, HP-UX Itanium platform, Linux on
Power platform, Linux on x86 platform, Linux on x86-64 platform,
Linux on zSeries platform, Solaris x86-64 platform, Solaris
SPARC platform

PROBLEM SUMMARY:
When using double byte characters in the file name, deployment
will fail with BIP2135E
This situation can occur when deploying a deployable ESQL file.

Problem conclusion

  • The product has a new environment called MQSI_FILESYSTEM_CP.
This should be set to the appropriate code page for the
characters used. For example MQSI_FILESYSTEM_CP=943
