IC94579: STREAMS STUDIO INSTANCE GRAPH FILTER CAN BE MISLEADING
Closed as fixed if next.
When you are viewing an instance graph in Streams Studio, you can use filters to focus on specific jobs. You can filter jobs by job name, job ID, job owner, or job health. There are some circumstances, however, where filters can affect what you see in the instance graph even when it is not obvious that they are doing so. For example, if you apply a filter and then cancel all of the jobs that met the conditions of the filter, you no longer see any jobs in the instance graph. When you click the Filter icon on the toolbar, none of the filters in the list are selected, which gives the impression that no filters are active and therefore no jobs are running. This impression is not accurate, however, since the filter is still applied. Other jobs that do not meet the filter conditions might be running.
1. Open the filter dialog box 2. Click on 'Deselect All' button and click OK 3. All filters will be removed (including the one that doesn't appear in the list)
Modified the filter dialog to list all filters that are currently applied. This will be fixed in InfoSphere Streams 3.2.
