See ERROR DESCRIPTION.
This is a limitation of TPC 4.2.x. It will be addressed in a later release. The fix for this APAR is targeted for the following maintenance package: | fix pack | 5.1.1-TIV-TPC-FP0003 - target December 2013 http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?&uid=swg21320822 The target dates for future fix packs do not represent a formal commitment by IBM. The dates are subject to change without notice.
Follow these steps for a workaround until an upgrade to a fixed level has occurred. 1. cd /opt/IBM/TPC/agent/bin/ 2. /usr/ccs/bin/ldedit -bmaxdata:0x80000000 Probe 3. Log into the agent machine as *root* <--- very important that it is root. 4. Edit the ".profile" with vi, emacs, or any other editor in the shell 5. Add the following line: "export LDR_CNTRL=MAXDATA=0x80000000" (without quotes). 6. Save changes. 7. Try SRA agent install again as you normally do.
