APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If a Content-Length header is specified on a url-open call
(HTTP POST), DataPower might send two Content-Length headers to
the remote target, the Content-Length header specified on the
url-open call, and the Content-Length determined by the
    url-open HTTP POST data.

Local fix

  • Do not explicitly set HTTP Content-Length.

Problem summary

  • Affected are customers using the url-open() XSLT extension
function or the <url-open> extension element with the HTTP
URL and the http-headers parameter containing a Content-Length
    header.

In some scenarios, this might result in an invalid backend HTTP
request with an incorrect or duplicate Content-Length header.

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix
