  • If using HCP 931 on 5250 session, all Japanese DBCS characters
    are displayed as garbages on every screen.

Problem summary

    When HCP931 is used with IBM Personal Communications emulator
    sessions, garbage characters appear on the screen. This Host
    code page is not being handled the same as other Japanese Host
    code pages.
    

Problem conclusion

  • PSCC.DLL, PCSCT.DLL, PCSCTNW.DLL, PCSEDIT.DLL, PCSFONT.DLL,
    PCSPCO.DLL, and PCSWS.EXE have been changed to handle HCP931
    in the same way as other Japanese Host code pages.
