IC93168: FAILED TO ENABLE SPANNING-TREE THROUGH THE SYSTEM CONSOLE

The customer enabled spanning-tree for VLAN aaa and VLAN bbb in the IBM PureApplication System Console. 1) Navigated to System Console -> Customer Network Configuration 2) Removed VLAN aaa and VLAN bbb from the user interface 3) Re-added VLAN aaa and VLAN bbb WITH SPANNING-TREE ENABLED via the user interface. 4) Clicked the save button to store and enable the new configuration. The customer waited a few minutes until "save" completed ( they waited until the blue spinning processing arrow disappeared). Then they logged into the Top-of-rack (TORs) but did not see that spanning-tree was enabled. When they navigated back to the IBM PureApplication System user interface, spanning tree was still reported as being DISABLED - this is te same state it was in before the change.
The version 188.8.131.52 release of this spanning-tree configuration code was rewritten and this issue no longer exists.
