The problem with the time display occurs when the time string does not match the settings for the System Local. For example, if the Regional and Language Settings are German but the Local is English. The Windows OLE library defaults the Local ID to the Local of the User. However, the value of the string in the result set is different, because of the Regional Setting. This mismatch, system configuration versus current user causes the date format function to fail, which causes the date field to contain garbage.
STRRTC 378075 STRRTC 377817 AE/AE Set the regional and language settings to English
User Affected: Customers with User Account Date Time setting formats that differ from those in the Windows settings for the Region. Problem Description: The Audit Log Date/Time column could display corrupted dates. This would occur if the Regional Settings in the Contol Panel differred from the Regional Setting of the DB server and the Date Time Format of the DB was not the same as the system running GSW.
Resolution Summary: If the attempt to format the date/time fails, as described above, display the date/time string provided by the DB without formating or adjusting for the current locale or user format preferences.
