Error description

  • The Tivoli Storage manager COPY ACTIVEDATA command might look
    hung when processing complex grouped objects.

    Complex grouped objects typically do exist for systemstate
    objects or for various virtual environment megablock versions,
    so if you do systemstate backups or back up virtual environments
    you are exposed to this APAR.

    A trace with traceflag DBCLI will show excessive usage and
    processing of result sets for:
    12:52:27.409 ホ1036レホtbcli.cレホ6622レホBuildStmtレ:EXITING rc=0 with
    stmt
    'SELECT NODEID,FSID,LEADERID,GROUPTYPE,MEMBERID,MEMBEROBJTYPE
    FROM
    "TSMDB1"."GROUP_LEADERS"  WHERE (NODEID=? AND FSID=? AND
    MEMBERID=?) ORDER
    BY LEADERID, GROUPTYPE FOR READ ONLY OPTIMIZE FOR 10 ROWS WITH
    UR --1036'.

    In addition, a server instrumentation trace will show the
    majority of time spent in
    DB2 MFtch Exec for the AfCopyActiveDataThread:
