Error description

  • If CDP or Fastback for Workstations is running on computer A and
is protecting a folder shared out on the network, if a user on
computer B uses certain applications such as Microsoft Word or
Excel to create or modify files in the shared directory on
computer A, the files might not get backed up. These
applications write the data to a temporary file before it is
renamed to the final filename. It is this rename over the
network operation that is not begin handled properly by the CDP
    and Fastback for Workstations application.
