  When Release in the EDI Associations area of the Map Editor is
  set to a number higher than the small int max of 32767 or less
  than 0, you will not be able to assign the compiled object
  (TPL) to any partner relationship.

  Circumvention:
  Workaround is to change the value in the Release box to a
  number between 0 and 32767

  association is entered in map Details dialog
  

Problem conclusion

• Resolution Summary:
  
  Set EDI Associations Release Versions in Details window to a
  default value of zero.  Changed the Edi Associations Release
  field to a numeric only field and added validation checking to
  ensure that the integer value is between 0 & 32767. Added two
  new warning messages for the validation check of the Edi
  Associations Release value to inform the user of which value is
  out of range.
