Sterling Gentran Server for Microsoft Windows All versions When Release in the EDI Associations area of the Map Editor is set to a number higher than the small int max of 32767 or less than 0, you will not be able to assign the compiled object (TPL) to any partner relationship.
Local fix
STRRTC 371770 WW/WW Circumvention: Workaround is to change the value in the Release box to a number between 0 and 32767
Problem summary
Users Affected: Customers running GSW 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, & 5.3.1 Map Release Version getting set to negative number in DB if no association is entered in map Details dialog
Problem conclusion
Resolution Summary: Set EDI Associations Release Versions in Details window to a default value of zero. Changed the Edi Associations Release field to a numeric only field and added validation checking to ensure that the integer value is between 0 & 32767. Added two new warning messages for the validation check of the Edi Associations Release value to inform the user of which value is out of range. Delivered In: 5.1.0.54 5.2.0.24 5.3.0.6 5.3.1.2
