Error description

  • Problem Description:
    An error message "SQL1042C An unexpected system error occurred.
    SQLSTATE=58004" while applying transaction logs (till "end of
    backup" option) on DB2 for Windows.

Local fix

  • None
    
    Workaround after hitting the error:
    Move the log file to active log path manually and then kickoff
    roll forward, this time it should be fine.
