IC91065: DURING ENGINE STARTUP, SQL QUERY TRIES TO RETRIEVE THE LAST 100 ACTIVITIES FROM THE DATABASE AND IS TIMING OUT

Error description

• During the engine start up, by default, SCC will retrieve the
  last 100 completed activities for each of the monitored server.
   The SQL queries that try to retrieve the last 100 activities
  from the Database is timing out(after 10 minutes).

Problem summary

• Description of issue:  During the engine start up, by default,
  SCC will retrieve the last 100 completed activities for each of
  the monitored server.  The SQL queries that try to retrieve the

  minutes). Please investigate optimizing that query.

• Description of fix:  The query that retrieves last 'n' completed
  activities for a monitored server was changed to use database
  specific syntax to improve the performance.
