Error description

  • There is no validation for invalid characters is done by the
Simple SLC Wizard, if Control Center is running on a UNIX
system, the user could create a simple SLC with an asterisk in
it, and while Windows rejects it, UNIX accepts it, and writes
the SLC to the disk, while no rule gets created. When the
engine tries to start up, it throws exceptions that the cache
for a given DVG could not be created, and the start up process
    is skewed.
