Error description
If you want to use the HDFSDirectoryScan, HDFSFileSource, or HDFSFileSink operators in the Big Data Toolkit in InfoSphere Streams, you must set the HADOOP_HOME environment variable. The Big Data Toolkit assumes that the src and lib directories are in the location pointed to by HADOOP_HOME. This is not the case with a Cloudera installation.
Local fix
To work around the problem, create symbolic links from the path that you specify in the HADOOP_HOME to the location of the src and lib directories in your Cloudera environment.
