IC90073: HSM FOR WINDOWS HSMMONITOR LOG FILE IS FILLING UP WITH WARNING MESSAGES WHEN RUNNING ON GPT FORMATTED DISKS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• HSM for Windows supports GPT formatted disks, however when HSM
  is running in cluster environment on GPT disks irrelevant
  information is erroneously reported in warning messages.
  Multiple messages are logged in within a second in the
  hsmmonitor log file and it's size is growing quickly.

  Tivoli Storage Manager HSM for Windows versions 5.5.0.0 -
  5.5.3.1, 6.1.0.0 - 6.1.5.1, 6.3.0.0 - 6.3.1.0, 6.4.0.0
