Error description

• The DataPower Web Services Management (WSM) component, used for
  data collection with ITCAM SOA, creates a WSM record in the WSM
  buffer that may have missing field values when an error occurs
  early in the multistep processing.
  
  The following fields should be filled in when the values are
  available:
  
    <request-url>
    <final-url>
    <webservice>
    <service-port>
    <ws-operation>
    <client>
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Affected is the use of web services component.
  
  The user was
  intermittently receiving an incomplete WSM record,
  which contained exclusively fault information, and lacked basic
  values such as request-url, final-url, or webservice. This
  behavior was observed in cases where the fault occurred early on
  in the execution of the request rule, such that the complete WSM
  record has not yet been created. This resulted in only partial
  fault information being returned by the existing error rule.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix is available in 4.0.1.16, 4.0.2.12 and 5.0.0.6
