Error description
After installing the 6.0.5 Refresh of PCOM version 6 on Windows 7 32bit SP1, the 3270 emulator session will hang after logging off the TSO host. Closing the session window results in PCSWS process staying active. To start a new session, PCSWS and PCSCM need to be stopped from Task Manager.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of PCOM Keep Alive * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 3270 display session hang when logoff * * from TSO with automatic disconnect set * * in host side and Keep Alive enabled in * * the PCOM session profile. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When PCOM Keep Alive is set in the 3270 session profile: [KeepAlive] EnableTelnetKeepAlive=Y and the user logs off a TSO host that has Automatic Disconnect set in the host LU, the session will hang. This is caused by the CreateThread() for Send_KeepAlive() never completing due to the timing of the function call.
Problem conclusion
PCSTLNET.DLL has been changed to add a delay after the CreateThread() for Send_KeepAlive() in the send monitoring thread function to ensure that Send_KeepAlive() was created successfully. Fix is scheduled for PCOM 6.0.7 Refresh Pack
