Error description

  • Problem Description:
    The Restore from SQL Backup may fail to analyze SQL Backup
    Files.
    
    Tivoli Storage Manager for Microsoft Sharepoint is able to
    restore backups
    generated with Tivoli Storage Manager for Databases: Data
    Protection for Microsoft SQL Server. These restores are
    orchestrated in the Doc
    Ave Web Interface.
    
    This option is found in Data Protection > Restore Controller of
    Doc Ave
    V5 Web Interface
    
    Tivoli Storage Manager for Microsoft Sharepoint uses the command
    line
    of Tivoli Storage Manager for Databases: Data Protection for
    Microsoft
    SQL Server to perform several tasks:
    - Query for available SQL Backups
    - Restore the SQL backup after building a custom command line
    restore
      request
    
    The Restore from SQL Backup may fail to analyze SQL Backup Files
    when using Sharepoint for the restoration
    
    This is due the fact Tivoli Storage Manager for Microsoft
    Sharepoint
    release is not designed to interpret the more verbose output of
    tdpsqlc query tsm command introduced in Tivoli Storage Manager
    for
    Databases: Data Protection for Microsoft SQL Server Version 6.3.
