Error description
Using an environment profile with the "IP addresses provided by: Pattern Deployer" setting enabled, the IP address used during the deployment is registered in the IP Group. If the validation of the virtual system deployment fails the IP address did not get removed from the IP Group.
Local fix
Problem summary
There were some missing code checks during the virtual system deployment to verify that the IP address resource would get released if the virtual system deployment failed.
Problem conclusion
The virtual system deployment code was updated to check the health of the deployment and release the IP address after a deployment failure.
