APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If there is a subdirectory present in the polled directory, the
  device will rename the subdirectory and attempt to open it
  as a file. Upon failure, the device does not attempt to rename
  it back to the original name. This means the name of the
  directory grows (in length) significantly for every single poll
  cycle.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Customers usingFTP, SFTP or NFS pollers to poll from a directory
  that has sub-directories might be affected.
  
  
  The sub-directories might be renamed incorrectly but the fix
  renames them afterwards according to the Error Rename Rule.

• Fix is available in 3.8.2.17, 4.0.1.15, 4.0.2.11 and 5.0.0.5
