• When you have a table schema with many columns of float or
  decimal type you might encounter an impact on load (and unload)
  performance when doing this load via dbaccess (or
  dbimport/dbexport).
  
  When loading via external tables you will get a better
  performance, but this might not be applicable for the
  dbexport/dbimport scenario.
