Error description

• Message flows with NL characters are not properly migrated
  from WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit V6.1 and 7.0 to V8.0.
  After migration NL characters appear corrupted.

• No local fix or workaround.
  

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  All users of WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit V8.0 who try to
  import a project interchange of message flows with NL chars
  created at V6.1 or V7.0.
  
  
  Platforms affected:
  MultiPlatform

  PROBLEM SUMMARY:
  When importing a project interchange with a message flow created
  from a previous release, the code to update ESQL references in
  the message flow does not read the message flow in UTF-8 format.
  If the message flow contains NL characters, they become
  corrupted when written back to the message flow.
  

Problem conclusion

• WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit has been modified to
  correctly handle NL characters in message flows when they are
  migrated from V6.1 and V7.0 to 8.0.
