Error description
When a Chassis Management Module reports that a compute node has been powered off the configuration database is updated to reflect that state. In this case the event was most likely generated by a timeout and the compute node state was recorded as being powered off even though it was powered on. The error in the event log was: CWZIP6037W The real power state of node SN#XXXXX is different from the power state in the database
Local fix
Problem summary
The Chassis Management Module (CMM) status was reported to be powered off by an error in the status update code.
Problem conclusion
The code was updated so that when there is a discrepancy between status and the last known state of the CMM the module is pinged and the correct state is verified.
Temporary fix
