IC88671: ADMIN_MOVE_TABLE TO TERMINATE BROKEN LOAD AND RESTART A NEW LOAD

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ADMIN_MOVE_TABLE (AMT) might hit conditions that cause the LOAD
  operation to finish prematurely.
  For example one might hit a log full condition (SQL0964C The
  transaction log for the database is full.) during LOAD
  operation.
  This will leave the target table in load pending state.
  
  With the current implementation AMT does no allow restart of the
  LOAD operation.
  Therefore a CANCEL (AMT) followed by new INIT and MOVE is needed
  to perform a new LOAD operation as soon as the error causing
  condition has been solved.
  
  This APAR will enable AMT to TERMINATE a broken LOAD and restart
  a new LOAD without the need to CANCEL the whole AMT operation.
