Error description

  • A TSM server can be removed from a multiserver configuration
    using the dsmmigfs removemulti command, when files migrated to
    the removed server are in migrated state.
    Affected files can not be accessed then, recalls fail. The dsmls
    command can return wrong results for affected files.

Local fix

  • Recall migrated files before removing a server from the
    configuration. dsmMultiServerRemove.pl installed with HSM is a
    sample script for this purpose.
