Error description

  • Personal Communications v6.0.5 5250 connection
    
    The customer receives a negative response error on i5.
    The negative response is x'10050141'.
    It means that "Too much data or too little data
     in a Write Data command".
    This issue occurs on pcom v6.0.5.
    Also this issue does not occur on pcom v5.9.
    Additional symptom:
    Server received the negative response x'10050121' from the
    client.

    When the 5250 session user presses PageUp or PageDown on a
    screen that needs to restore partial data, garbage characters
    display in the background.
    Restored display data is being blocked by a previous fix for
    a crash issue with non-displayable data.
    

Problem conclusion

  • PCSLT52.DLL has been updated with a conditional statement to
    allow function keys to pass the restore data buffer.
    
    Fix scheduled for PCOM 6.0.6 Refresh Pack
