IC88278: LIBRARY MANAGER MAY NOT CHECK WHETHER A STORAGE AGENT LIBRARY PATH IS MARKED OFFLINE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Tivoli Storage Manager server may not check whether a
  library path for a Storage Agent is online or not. This can
  lead to the phenomenon that the Tivoli Storage Manager server
  mounts a tape in a Library where the path is marked offline for
  the Storage Agent.
  This results then in
  "ANR0274E (ANE4985I Session: 123, Origin: STA) Attempt to access
  library DR failed, because the  library is set offline. "
  messages in the activity log and the corresponding volume state
  is changed to UNAVAILABLE.
  
  Customer/L2 Diagnostics:
  The actlog  will contain following messages:
  ANR0274E (ANE4985I Session: 123, Origin: STA) Attempt to access
  library DR failed, because the  library is set offline.
  
  The corresponding "query path sta f=d" will look as follows:
