Error description
When entering the settings notebook and the restore wizard, the user interface runs code to get a list of applications on the users system along with file extensions associated with the applications. This scan of the users system makes the user interface seem sluggish.
Local fix
Problem summary
The user interface is sluggish while running a scan to determine a list of applications and the associated file extensions on a users system.
Problem conclusion
This functionality has been changed in 6.3.1.0 so that the scan does not always run automatically. Instead, the user can press the Scan button inthe Application Setting panel to force the scan.
