IC88141: MQ FSH IN PUB/SUB SUBSCRIBER GOES INTO LOOP THROWING MULTITUDE OF 2009 MESSAGES EVEN IF CHANNEL IS BACK UP ON THE MQ SERVER
Closed as program error.
When an MQ front side handler is a pub/sub subscriber and its channel is disconnected, the front side handler will go into an infinite loop of retries attempting to reconnect even if the channel is back up on the MQ side, throwing a multitude of 2009 MQ error messages.
DataPower customers using MQ Front Side Handler with MQ Queue Manager Group for Subscription are likely to see this problem. MQ Front Side Handler using Subscription is not able to use Backup MQ Queue Manager while Primary MQ Queue Manager is down, and also is not able to use Primary MQ Queue Manager again even when Primary MQ Queue Manager has come back up.
The fix is available in 220.127.116.11, 18.104.22.168, 22.214.171.124 and 126.96.36.199 For a list of the latest fix packs available, please see: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21237631
