Error description

  • ENVIRONMENT:

    HATS v8.0.3
    3270/5250 web application

Problem title: Incorrect cursor position on DBCS field.

When user enters eraseEOF on the DBCS field, DBCS is cut off by
the half length. Sample: ABCDE* (ABCDE=DBCS, *=Cursor position).
It is as follows: if eraseEOF is pressed when cursor is in this
    position.

Result:AB* User found out that the cursor position is displayed
on a screen as being incorrect. If cursor is operated on DBCS
data, whenever 1 character moves, 2 bytes of cursor should move.
However, it moves only 1 byte. User provided screen caps for
    both PCOMM and HOST.

Essentially:if cursor is in this position on DBCS, the DBCS will
be cut off by the half length.
