Error description

  • Many users are seeing a popup in Notes with the following
information:
NetscapedispatchWnd: notes2.exe- Entry point not found
The procedure entry point StrCpyNW could not be located in the
dynamic
link library SHELL32.dll


In come cases the client then crashes and in other cases the
user can click OK and continue working in Notes. The user will
see the pop up many more times.
It seems to happen most when opening certain messages but cannot
be reproduced.
The issue happens on many users PCs.  It has been reproduced
with and without the embedded browser enabled and has been
reproduced in safe mode with networking.  The issue does not
happen with the basic client
