    A review of the Chasis Management Module event logs may show
    some events which did not get surfaced up to the overall IPAS
    system console. Some examples of such events include:
    - power/heat issues on network
    - iomodules including shutdown of the iomodules
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The issue was caused by SNMP being disabled on the Chasis
    Management Modules. IBM PureApplications System needs the SNMP
    traps to produce the events on the system console.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The code was updated to enable SNMP on the Chasis Management
    Modules.
