APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The first time the active alerts window is opened it takes
    minutes to display the alerts.

Local fix

  • STRRTC - 341535
    SF / SF
    Circumvention: None

Problem summary

  • Description of issue: When the alerts are displayed, the alert
icon display changes based on whether that alert has any
comments associated with it or not.
The calls were made to the engine/database once for each alert
and then that value was cached on the UI, causing a delay in the
    GUI response.

Problem conclusion

  • Description of fix: Change has been made to avoid that
engine/database calls while displaying the alerts but it will
    still display the correct icon.

Temporary fix

  • Awaiting customer fix verification.
