IC86194: DURING REDIRECTED RESTORE 'SEVERE' MESSAGES MAY BE LOGGED IN DB2 DIAG.LOG IF RESTORED DATABASE NAME IS DIFFERENT FROM THE BACKED

Error description

  • Severe messages indicating 'ContainerTagIsValid' appear in
    db2diag.log during redirected restore when a target database
    name is different than source database name.
    These messages appear during set tablespace containers for SMS
    tablespace.

    and actual database path in SQLTAG.NAM file located in the SMS
    container path. These severe messages can be ignored as they do
    not impact redirected restore. Indeed these severe messages are
    misleading.
