Error description

  • Error Description￘
A Process Control session contains consecutive GDW_Export
commands on the same set of documents. The two exports are to
two different files. The first of the two commands is set to
leave the documents exported in In Documents, while the second
command is set to move the documents to the In Drawer.
Occasionally, when the incoming documents are larger than
usual, the second export does not occurr and the documents are
left in In Documents when the session has completed.

Local fix

  • Local Fix￘
Put the commands in the Process Control session in a different
order and/or include an Exec_Program command between the two
GDW_Export commands that calls a batch file that does nothing
but delay for a few seconds.

Problem conclusion

  • Resolution Summary:
<Due to the processing time required by MSAccess to execute SQ
Commands, the 2nd export command was being executed on the DB
record before it had been updated and returned to a
non-processing state. A new check criteria has been entered
into Unattend to ensure the process has completed and time is
given to update the DB properly before initiating the next
    process control command>
