APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Fastback for Exchange might experience performance problems when
    opening an EDB file with a large number (100,000+) of folders.
    
    As result of that the SW may hand and   Fastback for Exchange
    might also take a long time to close.  In these cases, the
    program will appear to close but the process continues to run
    for several minutes or more.
    

Local fix

  • No local fix for opening an EDB file with a large number of
    folders.  In the case where Fastback for Exchange takes a long
    time to close, it is safe to kill the FastbackExchange.exe
    process after a few minutes.
