IC85224: SBOM FAILS AT AIX 6.1 DUE TO THE -C FLAG WITH LSJFS2 AND LSJFS COMMANDS

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• sbom backup fails at aix 6.1 with the error message:
  
  
  The following logical volumes cannot be included in this process
  
  because they did not satisfy the necessary requirements:
  
  LVname                          Error Message

  LV_NAME            JFS2 filesystems are not allowed to be taken
  offline.

  There are no logical volumes eligible for processing.

  Cause of the problem is a change at aix 6.1 with the output of
  the lsjfs2 command with the -c flag.
  When running the command:
  lsjfs2 -c /fsname
  this will list all the filesystems instead of just the
  /fsname used in the command.
  

Local fix

• The workaround is to make a copy
  of /usr/sbin/sbom_backup
  
  cp /usr/sbin/sbom_backup /usr/sbin/sbom_backup_bk
  
  vi /usr/sbin/sbom_backup and
  remove the
  -c flag from all the lsjfs2 and lsjfs commands within this
  script.
