Using Sterling Integrator 5.2.3.Sterling Integrator is the
PNODE.  Remote Connect:Direct is coping file to Sterling
Intergrator.   The Remote Connect:Direct is using
STRIP.BLANKS=YES.

But STRIP.BLANKS=YES does not strip blanks from a line if it
only contains a single blank character.
