APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Multi GM feature does not work with TPC-R if the MM license
  is not applied. The issue is TPC-R is looking for the wrong bit
  to enable the Multi GM feature.
  

Local fix

• Install MM license on the hardware
  

Problem summary

• After upgrading to the 4.2.2.2 release, an attempt to start
  multiple TPC-R Global Mirror sessions on the same DS8000 storage
  system with the multiple Global Mirror feature, will fail. Only
  one Global Mirror session will start successfully and form
  consistency groups. The other sessions will go into a SEVERE
  status indicating they were not able to start the Global Mirror
  processing because there are too many Master relationships on
  the hardware.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code will now check for the correct feature code.
