Local fix

Problem summary

  • After performing a Hyperswap in a z/OS Metro Global Mirror
session, the session is unable to
start. TPC-R fails with IWNR2108E, error code of 0400. To avoid
    this issue, it is suggested
that customers do not install ptf UK78825. This applies only to
customers who are using Hyperswap z/OS
    Metro Global Mirror.

Problem conclusion

  • After a hyperswap in the metro global mirror session types the
H1-H2 volumes end up in suspended state. TPC-R expects the H1-H2
volumes to be in Target Available state. TPC-R will now expect
the H1-H2 volumes to be in the suspended state for all hyperswap
    capable metro global mirror sessions.
