Error description

  • The Tivoli Storage Manager server is deallocating target
chunks and not replacing the chunks appropriately. Any
object that was linked to these chunks become invalid. The
links can be invalidated under the following conditions:

      Data Movement
        - A file is deduplicated in a primary storage pool.
        - That file is moved to a new primary storage pool.
        - The file has at least one base chunk that must remain
in the initial primary storage pool due to dependents.
        - The file is moved back to the initial primary storage
pool where the base chunks still reside.
      Data Copy
        - A file is deduplicated in a primary storage pool.
        - That file is moved to a new primary storage pool after
being copied to a copy storage pool.
        - The file has at least one base chunk that must remain
in the initial primary storage pool due to dependents.
        - The file is then restored back to the initial primary
storage pool where the base chunks still reside.
