Error description

  • DETAIL OF PROBLEM:
    Attempts to deploy SRAs to MSCS 2008 Windows cluster nodes with
    shares defined fail during the default
    probe with the following messaging:
    9/14/11 5:06:55 PM NAD0043I: Installing agent at C:\Program
    Files\IBM\TPC.
    NAD0115E: Failed to start Probe.
    NAD0040E: Agent install exited with an error code: 111.
    NAD0007I Closing connection to <SRA_HOSTNAME>
    RECREATE STEPS:
    Attempt to install an SRA onto a WIndows 2008 MSCS cluster node
    with shares defined.

Problem conclusion

  • The failure occurs when a clustered disk belongs to a
    CRG that does not appear in the list returned by
       hEnum = ClusterOpenEnum(hCluster, CLUSTER_ENUM_GROUP);
       ClusterEnum(hEnum, dwIndex++, &dwType, wszName, &dwSize);
    Such a disk will be displayed under the node
    to which is attached.
