Problem conclusion
The error occurs because of a temporary shortage of available tcp/ip ports for outbound connection when Data Server tries to connect through SOAP to Device Server to extract performance data. The fix contained in this APAR is to wait a few seconds and then retry the connection. APAR is targeted for the following maintenance packages: | fix pack | 4.2.2-TIV-TPC-FP0002 - target April 2012 http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?&uid=swg21320822 The target dates for future fix packs do not represent a formal commitment by IBM. The dates are subject to change without notice.
