Error description

  • When customer upgrades to Tivoli Storage Manager 6.x and move
    from a 32bit Windows to a 64 bit Windows, storage pool migration
    can fail.
    The activity log will show following messages:

Local fix

  • halt tsm
    open a DB2 command window
    set db2instance=server1
    db2start
    db2 connect to tsmdb1
    db2 set schema tsmdb1
    db2 "UPDATE AF_Clusters set
    CURVOLID=x'01000000010000000100000000000000000000000000000000000
    00000000000'"
    db2 commit
    db2 connect reset
    
    start tsm
    Issue move data on all FILLING volumes in sequential storage
    pools.
