IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) server V6.2.3.x interim fix downloads

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A Tivoli Storage Manager 6.X server installer fails on upgrading
  DB2.
  For the failure, upgrading the DB2 component itself ends
  successfully
  but the installation for successive components is not continued.
  
  Steps to recreate:
  1) Install Tivoli Storage Manager 6.2.1.0 on Windows Server 2008
  32bit.
  2) Apply Tivoli Storage Manager patch 6.2.2.2.
  
  L2/Customer Diagnostics:
  When extracting logs.zip file, the log
  "logs\coi\plan\install\MachinePlan_localhost\00002_DB2_2_1\logs\

  shows the following messages.

Problem conclusion

• This problem has been corrected.
  

Temporary fix

• Replace the DB2.xml in COI/PackageSteps/DB2 with the same file
  in 6.1.5 or 6.2.3 64-bit server package then run the install
  again.
