Error description

  • Problem Description:
    
    When performing Tivoli Storage Manager index reorganization,
    the DB2 reorganization process and the Tivoli Storage Manager
    server processes become deadlocked attempting to obtain locks.
    This problem does not occur with table reorganization.
    
    You will see several of the following messages in the server
    activity log:
    
    ANR0158W Database operation <operation> for table
    <server table> failed with operation code 224 and tracking
    id <tracking id>. The data for column <col Id> is:
    (<specific data to the error>. (SESSION: <session num>)
    
    You might also see these and other similar messages:
    ANR0103E admnode.c(14203): Error 224 updating row in
    table "Nodes". (SESSION: <session num>)
    ANR0104E afutil.c(2134): Error 224 deleting row from
    table "AF.Damaged". (PROCESS: <process id>)
    ANR1133E Migration is ended for volume <volume Id>.
    An internal server error is detected. (PROCESS: <process id>)
    
    This APAR is fixed by the new server option
    DB_DB2_KEEPTABLELOCK.  When this APAR is closed, the
    closing text will include full information concerning
    that new server option.
