IC76266: CAN'T STOP RUNNING PM JOBS

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In the Job log panel,  jobs are not displayed and there is no
"Stop Now" option to terminate running jobs.  Currently,  TPC
only displays PM jobs that have been started in the last week.
For PM jobs that have been started longer than one week,  the
jobs are not displayed.
By default,  all running jobs should be displayed, not just the
ones started in the past week.

Local fix

  • Navigate to "Manage Jobs" panel and filter jobs started for the
past year.
The jobs will then be displayed in the job log panel and there
you can halt the job(s) via "Stop Now" option.

Problem conclusion

  • The default filter has been changed to allow all jobs to be
seen.  The fix for this APAR is targeted for the following
maintenance package:
