4.2.1 Interim Fix 1 (November 2011) for Tivoli Storage Productivity Center

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• the tpc service script should create a text file in the root
  directory of the service collection called 'license.txt' that
  lists the -name only- of the license file that the customer has
  installed in the tpc install directory, or a message like
  "**NO LICENSE FILE FOUND**". this will give support information
  on the tpc edition that the customer has installed.

Problem conclusion

• The name of the installed license is now returned in the
  service output.  The fix for this APAR is targeted for the
  following maintenance packages:
